Renaming of Wands

Because of the way SL manages attachments and inventory, an object can't be renamed while still attached to an avatar. For this reason, if you attach a brand new wand, when it registers and 'discovers' which one it is, the object will not be renamed. So you may have just acquired Hexaroth's Unstable Enthraller, but if you registered it while wearing it, it will still appear as "Bloodlines Badlands Wand" in your SL inventory.

The fix for this is to rez the wand on the ground. Ideally you do this while registering, but even after the fact you should be able to set the wand on the ground, let it sit there long enough to check in with the database (usually a few seconds is fine) then when you pick it up, the object should be renamed to the actual name of the wand.
