How can I move my soul?

There are only three possible ways to move a soul:

1. With the Soul Reaper. This is the most preferable way to move a soul. The soul keeper must be able to log into Second Life, and must consent to the transfer.

2. With the Electrum Potion. This is a method of last resort that can be used if a deal cannot be reached with the soul keeper to transfer the soul. It is not ideal, because a better deal for both parties can always be reached. If the Electrum potion is used, the person drinking it has to buy the potion, and the soul keeper will get another soul in exchange that they may not want. If people negotiate, both parties can get a better deal. Its existence is meant to give people bargaining power against soul keepers who don't want to trade for a soul.

3. With the Hemlock Potion. This will only work if the soul keeper becomes destroyed, and the soul in question goes into the Abyss.

There are no other ways to move a soul.

If your soul is stuck on an inactive player's account, and you cannot communicate with them to organize a trade, there are a few options:

1) The soul owner no longer has an SL account:

If this is the case, then file a ticket letting us know. If we can see that the player has no SL account, we can move the your soul to the Abyss. We only do this one soul at a time, by the request of the person whose soul it is. You can't request for someone else's soul to be moved off of a closed account.

2) The soul owner is not reachable, but still has an SL account:
If this is the case, then the only option to move the trapped soul is to use the Electrum potion. The person can always come back.
